After finishing high school she went to Germany to work at Stall Waldfrieden under Tanja Traupe. She returned to Norway to go to university, before heading to England to train under Paul Fielder. In 2004 she was offered a job at Stall-K which she says was the beginning of her professional riding career. In 2007 she left Stall-K to open her own stables and training ground in Oslo, Norway.
