In April 2015 he fractured his pelvis after he fell and was trapped under the horse while training in Great Britain. He returned to Japan and required about 11 months of rehabilitation. He wanted to do something different to what his friends were doing. His father's hobby was horse riding, so he was taken to a riding club. |
When and where did you begin this sport? |
He began horse riding in grade five of primary school at the Tobu Riding Club Crane in Saitama, Japan. He took up the sport competitively at Meiji University in Tokyo, Japan. |
