FROM NEW ZEALAND TO GREAT BRITAIN She moved to Great Britain from New Zealand to ride at a point-to-point racing yard in 1992. She then began working as a groom at British event rider Ian Stark's yard in Scotland before she set up her own base in Kelso, Scotland, from which she operated until the end of 2012. She later moved to Suffolk, where she set up Caroline Powell Eventing in Bury St. Edmunds. She relocated to a new yard in Newmarket in 2019.
